The Reality of Vlogging Your Wedding
The cameras and mics in your kit are high-quality and well-reviewed, as you can see from the examples. However, how you film and how much you film will have a big impact on what you watch back. This isn’t a replacement for a professional videographer—it’s an option for people who weren’t planning to hire one or simply don’t want one.
With vlogging, you’ll get a far more personal video album, capturing real moments, behind-the-scenes laughs, and the guest experience. You'll have a way to see the entire day unfold from multiple perspectives. However, unless you have a skilled and experienced friend filming, you won’t get a cinematic wedding film. The cameras are easy to use and reliable for capturing the day as it happens, but the beauty of the final videos isn’t in polished shots—it’s in the real, emotional moments you’ll cherish forever.
